Swiffer Duster

Product Description
From the swiffer web site,
Swiffer Dusters fluffy fibers trap and lock dust that traditional methods just spread around. The fluffy fibers also change shape to get into tight spaces and dust virtually any surface, even surfaces that spray polish shouldn’t go like electronics and plants. Best of all, Swiffer Dusters leaves behind no smeary residue.

What it costs $4.99
Refills - 10 for $8.39

Ease of assembly 5 Stars
Match the handle to the duster and snap it on. Then slide the sweeping cloth onto the duster.
Ease of use 5 Stars
It’s dusting, not rocket science (sheesh)

Actual performance 5 Stars
The duster gets into those little areas around my computer and on the mantle. It even does a good job on the ceiling fan blads. This works well on window blindes. You can also get an extender (i.e. long stick) to help reach those high places such as the top of bookshelves.

Final thoughts on practicality
When I think of manly men, I think of John Wayne, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Chuck Norris. In these thoughts I never see them dusting. Now my caveman instincts tell me to grab the old tee shirt and go to town and that sufficed during my bachelor life. However now married, I have evolved (forced to get rid of that old tee shirt). Dusting is dusting and as a guy, I want to get it done as quickly as possible (i.e. before my guy friends see me holding a duster). The swiffer does a good job although the replacement refills are a bit costly (10 for $8.39).

Final Score
5 stars out of 5
