Ease of assembly N/A
The whole concept of gears is assembly. Kids spending time putting it together.
Ease of use 5 Stars
The gears join together easily. Easy enough for my 3 year old to do it while at the same time, interesting enough to keep my 6 year old’s attention.

Actual performance 5 Stars
This is one of those fun toys that allows a kid to just play. You can arrange the colorful gears in different configurations, and turn them with supplied handles. You are not limited to 2 dimensions so kids can build upward also! Everything spins and rattles. A nice option with this toy is that you can get add on’s (reasonably priced).

Final thoughts on practicality
My kids love this toy. It is not too expensive and is easier to clean up then legos.
Final Score
5 stars out of 5
